FILTER PUMPS

These pumps are operated on water or compressed air, and produce a satisfactory vacuum, even when the water (or compressed air) pressure is low, i.e. it requires little water (or compressed air) for its operation. The fact that the pumps are fitted with a NON RETURN VALVE ensures the maintenance of vacuum. even when the water (or compressed air) supply is interrupted.

How to choose the type of connection for the filter pump
	If the OUTSIDE THREAD on the tap outlet measures:
	1.	21mm. – A ½” B.S.P. female connection is needed (Cat.No. 1588-1/2)
	2.	26.5mm. – A ¾” B.S.P female connection is needed (Cat.No. 1588-3/4)
	3.	22mm. A M22 female connection is needed (Cat.No. 1588-M22)


	If the INSIDE THREAD on the tap outlet measures:
	1.	11.5mm. A ¼” B.S.P. male connection is needed (Cat.No. 1588-1/4)
	2.	13mm. – A 9/16” B.S.B. male connection is needed (Cat.No. 1588-9/16)

1582 FILTER PUMP student type, with a 10mm. riffled hose connection. Made of nickel plated brass.		1588 FILTER PUMP laboratory type, 140mm high with ½”, ¾” B.S.P. or M22 female or ¼”B.S.P. or 9/16” B.S.B. male connection. Also available with any other connection on request. Made of chrome plated brass.
1583 same as 1582, but with 1/2" or 3/4" B.S.P. connector		1589 same as 1588, but with a 10mm. riffled hose connection. 170mm high
